SCULPTURAL MINIMALISM.

Founded in New York in 2023 by Chongqing native Zane Li, Lii has emerged as one of the most compelling revelations of recent Fashion Week seasons. The designer explores a perpetual tension between structure and fluidity, between architectural rigor and a discreet yet assertive femininity. This is a minimalism that is never cold, but always in motion.

Silhouettes are crafted with precise volumes and sculptural cuts, informed by an avant-garde art sensibility and a technical mastery far exceeding expectations for such a nascent house. To wear Lii is to embrace an immediately recognizable visual language, where each piece is a serene and resolved study of form and movement.

About this selection

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"Founded in New York in 2023 by Zane Li, a designer born in Chongqing and trained within the most demanding circles of contemporary American fashion, Lii has, in just a few seasons, established itself as one of the most closely watched and acclaimed young houses at New York Fashion Week. Vogue Runway, Harper's Bazaar, the New York Times Style Magazine, and WWD have successively lauded Zane Li's work, highlighting a creative maturity and coherence of vision that strikingly contrast with the house's nascent age. This swift and unanimous recognition from the specialized international press underscores a creative proposition that addresses a genuine and profound need within the contemporary fashion landscape: a sculptural minimalism that sacrifices neither sensuality nor emotion for formal rigor.\nLii's creative territory is defined by a perpetual tension between opposing forces that Zane Li steadfastly refuses to easily reconcile. Structure and fluidity, architectural rigor and discreet femininity, calculated minimalism and organic expressiveness coexist within each piece without one polarity overpowering the other, thus creating silhouettes of visual and emotional complexity that their apparent simplicity belies at first glance. The precise volumes and sculptural cuts that characterize the house's women's and men's collections are the result of construction work demanding technical excellence and precision, positioning Lii within the lineage of New York's great minimalist houses of the 1990s while asserting a resolutely contemporary and personal sensibility and formal language.\nAt Actuel B, we offer a curated selection of Lii pieces, available in our boutiques in Avignon and Arles, as well as on our website. Dresses, jackets, and sculptural pieces are presented by teams trained in the house's architectural and minimalist universe, alongside the personalized advice that defines our approach to multi-brand luxury."}]}]}
