The Anita Low by Camper, reinterpreted in collaboration with Issey Miyake, takes the form of a pointed-toe sock shoe, constructed entirely from ivory ribbed knit of an almost weightless lightness. Its sculpted beveled heel, carved like an architectural fragment, contrasts with the enveloping flexibility of the knitted upper that hugs the foot with no visible seams. The uniform off-white creates absolute visual coherence, somewhere between a design object and a second skin. It can be worn just as easily with fluid tailored trousers as with a minimalist midi dress for a resolutely sculptural look.
