The Pleats Please Issey Miyake City Collage is a permanently pleated polyester poncho stole whose generous volume wraps the body without defining it. The base is a diagonal stripe in cobalt blue, black and white that gives the fabric its structure, over which a multicolour collage print layers architectural planes, botanical forms and urban geometry. The permanent pleating makes the piece wrinkle-resistant and machine washable: it folds down compactly and recovers its shape immediately. Wear over a matching straight skirt or with simple trousers to let the print take centre stage.
