THE ALLURE OF PATINA.

Handcrafted in the Venetian region, Marsèll footwear stands apart. The brand has forged its reputation on an aesthetic of "perfect deconstruction": forms are organic, toes often upturned, and heels beveled. This is luxury that defies the pristine.

The collection's strength lies in its meticulous material treatment. Calf, horse, and kangaroo leathers are washed, crumpled, and artisanally patinated to achieve unique textures, both matte and gleaming. From thick-soled Derbies to zipped ankle boots, each pair appears to have already lived, offering immediate suppleness and a nonchalantly avant-garde allure.

About this selection

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"For centuries, Italy's Riviera del Brenta has been the crucible for the most technically advanced and coveted footwear, supplying soles and uppers to the grandest Parisian and Milanese luxury houses who entrust the crafting of their models to these family workshops, whose savoir-faire is an undisputed benchmark. It is within this landscape, saturated with artisanal prowess, that Marsèll chose to cultivate a vision radically opposed to that of its neighbors and clients: where others pursue a smooth, identically reproducible perfection, Marsèll has elevated controlled imperfection and the singular character of each pair to the very bedrock of its identity.\n\nThe men's collection embodies this philosophy with unwavering coherence and conviction. Calf, horse, and kangaroo leathers—materials with profoundly distinct characters and grains that few houses dare to feature within the same catalog—undergo artisanal washing, crumpling, and patinating processes that transform each hide into a unique narrative surface, matte or luminous depending on the areas, indelibly marked by the hands that have treated it. The organic forms with occasionally upturned toes and beveled heels that define Marsèll's formal vocabulary conjure immediately recognizable silhouettes, poised between sublimated workwear and wearable sculpture. Thick-soled Derbies and zipped ankle boots share the rare distinction of being supple and familiar from the very first wear, as if they had already embraced a full life before gracing your hands, offering an avant-garde yet nonchalant allure that no pristine, rigid shoe could ever achieve.\n\nAt Actuel B, we offer a selection of Marsèll men's shoes, available in our boutiques in Avignon and Arles and on our website. Derbies, ankle boots, and iconic models are presented by teams trained in the brand's artisanal and avant-garde universe, with the personalized advice that characterizes our multi-brand luxury approach."}]}]}
