For this inaugural Women's SS26 collection, Pierpaolo Piccioli awakens 'Sleeping Beauty'. He merges his mastery of color with Cristóbal's rigorous architectural vision. Gone is the somber streetwear, making way for a monumental and poetic femininity.

The silhouette reclaims its stature. Discover silk faille dresses with trapezoid volumes, spectacular drapes, and a sculptural reinterpretation of the house's iconic bag. A wardrobe of radical elegance, where cardinal pink and deep black finally converse.

About this selection

Founded in San Sebastián in 1919 by Cristóbal Balenciaga before moving to Paris, the house of Balenciaga embodies one of the purest expressions of twentieth-century couture genius. A master of construction and volume, Cristóbal left the house an architectural vocabulary that its successive creative directors have never stopped reinterpreting. With the arrival of Pierpaolo Piccioli, Balenciaga reconnects with this couture heritage through spectacular draping, sculpted volumes and monumental elegance.

Today the Balenciaga women's wardrobe combines haute couture heritage with pieces that have become true icons. Leather plays a central role: the brown leather Cocoon jacket, the fitted high-neck jacket and the oversized version in black leather, as well as a bright yellow cropped bomber. Tailoring comes through a double-breasted denim blazer and fitted denim trousers, high-waisted pleated wool trousers and the Folded skort in black wool, while an asymmetric red draped dress and a pussy-bow blouse recall the house's couture DNA.

Balenciaga bags are at the heart of our selection: the legendary Le City bag and its Le City Mini version in black crinkled leather, the Rodeo S bag in camel leather, the Darling Medium flap bag and the quilted Monaco bag.
