Momotaro crafts this jacket from double-weave sashiko cotton, indigo-dyed and then overdyed after construction, which gives the navy colour a deeper and more intense uniformity than standard sashiko. This fabric is historically used in kendo equipment for its durability: the double weave creates a visible textured surface and a structured drape that develops with wear. The cut is slightly relaxed and centered, featuring a classic shirt collar, four tonal buttons, two patch chest pockets, and two large rounded lower pockets. Wear it with the brand's selvedge jeans or West Point trousers for a complete indigo look.
