Bea Mombaers doesn't just design bags; she crafts everyday objects with the discerning eye of an interior architect. Renowned for her B&B in Knokke le Zoute, she infuses her minimalist and inviting aesthetic into an essential line of leather goods.

The true star is the leather. Often, thick, unlined vegetable-tanned buffalo hide. The vision is for a "Shopper" that truly lives: it will soften, bear unique marks, and develop a rich patina over time, evolving into a singularly personal piece. About this selection

Bea Mombaers is best known as one of the most influential figures in contemporary Belgian interior design, the woman whose B&B in Knokke-le-Zoute has become one of the most admired addresses in Northern Europe. It is this curator's eye, trained in the balance between form, material and function, that sets her leather goods line apart. Bea Mombaers does not design fashion bags: she creates everyday objects made to last and to evolve with the person who carries them.

Thick, unlined and deliberately raw vegetable-tanned leather is the house's signature material. Unlike the treated leathers of conventional leather goods, Bea Mombaers leather is made to live: it softens with use, develops a patina over the months and becomes a one-of-a-kind piece. A logo-free, radically honest luxury, where only the quality of the material justifies the price.

The shopper bag is the brand's emblem and comes in every size: Shopper S, Shopper Midi, Shopper Large, Shopper L with shoulder strap, Shopper XL and Shopper East West, in matte leather, Tumbled grained leather or smooth leather, in black, cognac, brown, olive, khaki or chalk. The Drawstring Large bag, in black or khaki leather, offers a softer alternative. Small leather goods complete the selection with the zipped wallet in black or brown leather and the bow keyring in cognac leather. Timeless leather tote bags designed for every day, which grow more beautiful with time.
