MOMOTARO JEANS - Men

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"Kojima, a city in Okayama prefecture on Honshu island, is to denim what the Riviera del Brenta is to Italian footwear: a territory where savoir-faire concentrates and perpetuates a textile tradition of such exacting standards and consistency that no other region in the world has managed to replicate this level of quality. It is within this environment, steeped in textile heritage and artisanal perfectionism, that Momotaro Jeans was founded, driven by the conviction that denim could and should be treated with the same gravitas and precision as any artisanal luxury object, provided there was an absolute refusal to compromise on materials, techniques, and the time required for manufacturing.\n\nZimbabwe cotton, the foundational raw material for Momotaro Jeans, is one of the world's most sought-after textile fibers due to the exceptional length of its filaments, which yield a thread of unparalleled strength and softness that ordinary cottons simply cannot rival. Woven on vintage shuttle looms using the selvedge technique, which produces a tight and distinctive finished edge along the fabric's borders, this denim of remarkable density and drape is then dyed in an ultra-deep indigo, specifically engineered to develop over time and wear a personal patina of exceptional richness. The Momotaro fading—a process of progressive, irregular discoloration that reveals friction and wear areas unique to each wearer—transforms every pair of jeans into a unique autobiographical document, the map of its wearer's life inscribed in indigo. The two white Going to Battle stripes painted on the back pocket and the signature pink stitching, a discreet and poetic nod to the Japanese folk tale of the fisherman who inspired the brand's name, complete an object where every detail stands as proof of unparalleled perfectionism in the global denim universe.\n\nAt Actuel B, we offer a selection of Momotaro men's jeans, available in our boutiques in Avignon and Arles, as well as on our website. Selvedge cuts and iconic models are presented by teams trained in the brand's artisanal and passionate universe, with the personalized advice that characterizes our multi-brand luxury approach."}]}]}
