The Anita Low by Camper, reinterpreted in collaboration with Issey Miyake, takes the form of a pointed-toe sock shoe, entirely constructed in ivory ribbed knit of an almost immaterial lightness. Its sculpted beveled heel, cut like an architectural fragment, contrasts with the enveloping flexibility of the knitted upper that hugs the foot with no visible seams. The uniform off-white creates total visual coherence, somewhere between a design object and a second skin. It pairs just as well with fluid tailored trousers as with a minimalist midi dress for a resolutely sculptural result.
