Born from the close bond between a mother and her son, Ormaie Paris is a unique creative house. Baptiste Bouygues and Marie-Lise Jonak have taken on an immense technical challenge: to offer 100% natural haute parfumerie, without any synthetic ingredients, while maintaining exceptional longevity and complexity.

Each fragrance tells a story, evokes a specific memory and emotion. But the experience is also visual: the sculptural bottles are topped with hand-polished, geometric beechwood caps, veritable design totems inspired by Brancusi. This is sustainable luxury in its most artistic form, where beauty and quality are one.

About this selection

Baptiste Bouygues and Marie-Lise Jonak founded Ormaie Paris by taking on a challenge that most perfumers consider technically insurmountable: creating high perfumery with complexity and longevity worthy of the greatest niche houses, exclusively using natural raw materials, without resorting to the synthetic molecules that today form the backbone of almost all global luxury perfumery. This radical choice, motivated by a deep ethical and aesthetic conviction as well as a taste for technical challenge, required years of research and reformulation to produce scents capable of competing in projection, longevity, and evolving complexity with compositions benefiting from the chemical arsenal of contemporary industrial perfumery.

Each Ormaie Paris fragrance starts from a specific memory or emotion, a narrative approach that Baptiste and Marie-Lise Jonak share with major literary niche perfume houses, but which they deploy using only resources from the plant and animal kingdoms in their noblest expression. Natural raw materials, sourced with a demanding standard comparable to that of the best Michelin-starred chefs for their suppliers, produce compositions whose depth and evolution on the skin progressively reveal facets and nuances that no synthetic could imitate with the same authenticity. The sculptural bottles topped with their geometric hand-polished beech wood caps, inspired by the work of Romanian sculptor Constantin Brancusi whose search for pure and essential forms deeply resonates with the brand's philosophy, make Ormaie Paris one of the rare olfactory offerings where the object itself fully justifies its place in a refined interior, well beyond its exceptional content.
