Momotaro constructs this vest from the same extra-long staple Pima cotton overdye sashiko as the matching jacket from the collection, designed to be worn alone or as part of a total look. The raised sashiko surface texture is woven on a jacquard loom and overdyed after manufacturing for a deep, uniform indigo navy hue that will gradually fade with wear. The cut is short and direct, sleeveless, with a collarless round neck, five tonal buttons, and two large, rounded patch pockets at the bottom.
